George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are one step closer
to tying the knot. The engaged duo have
now secured their marriage license. They're officially getting
hitched. George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin attained their marriage license
in
London at Chelsea Town Hall.
Photos show a notice posted publicly outside Chelsea Old Town Hall announcing that the two plan to wed. The notice lists the wedding's location as Italy.
The two plan to exchange "I do"s at a ceremony there, and they have been spending much time lately in Lake Como, where the Oscar-winning actor has a villa. In July, Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, were spotted having dinner together with his parents in the area.
The couple's respective mothers were also seen getting chummy and smiling while shopping together during their Italian getaway.
Clooney popped the question to Alamuddin in April, and, in a typical display of his charming, self-effacing candor, Clooney recently gushed to Variety about his bride-to-be.
